Pixlr Express – Download
Pixlr Express made the lis of best apps of 2012 that was made by Google. This app has many of the features of pixlr-o-matic but on top of those, has many many more. This app was mentioned in our previous article of the top 7 apps that you must have so it is being mentioned again for our best photo editing apps. It is on top of this list because it has awesome features and is simple and easy to use.
SnapSpeed – Download
SnapSpeed is a great app to use primarily on your phone. The interface of this app is one of the best I have seen. Navigation through the app is easy and there are 11 filters that you can use with your pictures. If you want to enhance pictures, you can adjust those with a single tap of the finger. SnapSeed also won an award for its photo editing program. Google then purchased the application from Nik Software.
Camera MX – Download
The GUI of this app is not the best, but it is useable none the less. You need to register with the company for a free account so you can access certain filters and that is one aspect we do not like about this app. Each effect that you can choose from has a slider so you are able to play with the intensity of each one. All other features are very similar to the other apps listed.
PicsArt – Download
This is one of the best applications to create awesome photos. The filters are super customizable and adjustable. Each filter has up to three different sliders so you can adjust them completely. Full screen filters as well as borders can be switched with other effects. These effects can be screen, overlay, darken and multiply. Any part of the picture can be painted using the brush in this application.
Photoshop Express – Download
Photoshop Express is produced by Adobe which is a leading brand name in the business. This application is known for being one of the fast photo editing apps on the market. It is an all in one tool. The buttons to undo and redo changes are extremely useful if you have big fingers like I do. Filters are also not letting us down, but there are not too many of them because Adobe wanted Photoshop Express to be extremely fast. This app also allows you to sync up with other Adobe products such as the client on your desktop or the cloud service.
