The other day I was trying to view a PDF document on my smartphone so I decided to look into the best PDF readers that are available for Android smartphones.
What I came across is that Foxit Reader is a PDF reader that is well known for being one of the best on desktop computers. It now comes available for Android and there is a free and paid version. The free version of Foxit will allow you to read PDFs and let you view in two modes, landscape and portrait. You are also allowed to use the search tool that is built in and import documents from your personal computer. You can import files from Dropbox or over your WiFi.
Foxit has a simple design that allows you to take your documents and organize them with folders. You can share these easily with applications that are compatible that you may have on your smartphone. With Foxit you can also zoom, sort documents in more than one way, and the ability to remember the page of the document that you last opened.
The Foxit app makes use of the Hulu GUI which gives an awesome experience from any Android device. When you have any PDF open, you can navigate with easy as well as make bookmarks and adjust the lighting.
Adobe Reader is known to offer more options, but this PDF reader is meant to be lightweight and fast while at the same time being useful. We think it does a great job of this.
